Live your vacation in corsican village community
is an infinite richness.

Lama
Lama is an old village of warriors, nested at the foot
of the Monte Astu probably to fight against the foreign invasions
come by the sea in Ostriconi.
The houses are sticked to each other and make me think about a chain
of forts on a horse's croup;
the rock to fight, the nearby mountain to shelter.

Novella
U paese !
Who among us can utter this word whitout being moved ?
Whether you are in France in the most beautiful and richest towns,
in the most splendid places that a man can see, in plains as far as
the eye can see : "u me paese", each present thing disappears
and straight away it shines out in the bright light of the memory
like a drawing in black on a white page.

Palasca
A landscape made of plain lines of a purety which ignores the artifice
and flourishes. Even the ocre color of the drystone walls, the faded
pink of the curved tiles belong to this nature scorched by sun. Between
her and the man, ascetic and uncommunicative there are, here more
than anywhere else, identity, tacit, rigorous harmony, in the intimate
strenght in the virtue.

Pietralba
If there is a corsican reality, it is in villages that we find it...
I mean by reality a way of living and thinking, a social, moral and
religious behavior, a way of being, in brief all that makes the specificity
of a community, the permanent features which create its cultural identity.

Urtaca
U paese !
Chi di noi po prununcia sta parolla
senza un colpu à u core ? ch'ellu sia in Francia, in le piu belle
e ricche cita, in li lochi i piu splendidi ch'omu possa vede, in le
pianure à vista d'ochju, quandi no' dicemu : " u me paese "
ogni cosa prisente sparisce, e subitu schiatta in la piena luce di
u ricordu, cume un dissegnu in neru annantu à una pagine bianca...
