General Articles

Article 1 :The signature of the present contract imply the adherence to the general and particular articles.

Article 2 - Duration of the vacation

The signatory tenant of the present contract concluded for a limited period could not in any case take advantage of a any right of maintenance in the premises at the end of the vacation.

Article 3

The rental becomes effective as soon as the owner receives a payment of 25% of the total price of the rental and a copy of the signed contract, before the date mentioned on the front.
A second copy must be kept by the tenant.
The rental concluded between the parties of the present contract, cannot in any case benefit even partially from third parties, physical or moral persons, except with a written agreement of the owner.

Article 4 - Cancellation by the tenant

Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter or telegram to the owner
a) Cancellation before the arrival on the place

the payment remains established as the owner's, this one could ask the balance of the total amount of the vacation, if the cancellation is made on less than 30 days before the arrival on the place.
b) If the rental is shortened, the price of the rental remains as the owner's. No repayment could not be required.

Article 5 - Cancellation by the owner

The owner pays back to the tenant the double of the
collected sums.

Article 6 - Arrival

The tenant must come on the precised day at 4 p.m
In case of late or postponed arrival, the tenant must warn the owner about it.

Article 7 - Payment of the balance

The balance of the rental is paid at the entrance in the premises.

Article 8 - Inventory of Fixtures

An inventory is established in common and signed by the tenant and by the owner or his representative at the entrance and leaving of the gite.
This inventory constitutes the only reference in case of dispute concerning the inventory.
The state of cleanliness of the gite at the arrival of the tenant will have to be done with the inventory of fixtures. The cleaning of the premises is chargeable to the tenant, during the period of the rental and before his departure. An example of the inventory is usually sticked up behind the front door. Point out any anomaly to the owner the day after the arrival at the latest. Any damage or missing element will be included in the bill or deducted from the guaranty.

Article 9 - Deposit of guarantee or guaranty

At the arrival of the tenant, the deposit of guarantee of a total amount of 1000 FF is required by the owner. After the contradictory setting-up of the inventory of fixtures of leaving, this deposit is returned after deducting of the cost of repairing of the premises in the case of noticed damages.
If the final cleaning is not done, a fixed sum of 250 FF will be deducted from the guaranty.
In case of early departure (previous to the date that is mentionned on the explanatory sheet) preventing the setting up of the inventory of fixtures on the very day of the tenant's leaving, the deposit of guarantee is sent back by the owner within a week.

Article 10 - Use of the premises.

the tenant will have to ensure the quiet nature of the property and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises.

Article 11 - Capacity

The present contract is settled for a maximum capacity of persons. If the number of the tenants exceeds the capacity of accomodation, the owner can refuse the additional persons.

Article 12 - Animals

The present contract specifies if the tenant can or cannot stay in the company of a pet.
In case of no respect of this clause, the owner can refuse the animals.

Article 13 - Insurance

The tenant is responsible for all the damages arisen because of him.
He is so invited to subscribe to a contract of insurance of vacation type for these various risks.

Article 14 - Payment for the Charges

The water and the gas charges are included in the price of the rental.
The electricity is free from the 15.06. to 14.09, the rest of the year, after the meter reading at the leaving and at the arrival, the owner deducts 4kWh/day and will put on the bill the surplus at the price of 0.85
per kWh.

Article 15 - Disputes

Any complaints relative to the inventory of fixtures, to the descriptive state or to the vacation at the time of a rental must be submitted to the Tourist Office of Lama within three days from the arrival.

Particular Articles

Arrivals and Departures

The arrivals in our gites can be done on Sunday  between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The departures from our gites must be done on Sunday  between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Small Works

The small works or repairings in the gites must be indicated to the gite's owner or to the Tourist Office for a quick intervention.
The changings of the cylinder of gas, of bulbs, etc... are done by the owner.
However, the cleaning products are chargeable to the occupants. Sheets and linen :

The occupants are obliged to use sheets and pillowcases for all the occupied beds.
There is a rental service in the village.
